About Me

I’m Samuel Speck, a Director of Photography based in the Greater Midwest, near Cincinnati. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve worked on projects ranging from small sets to large-scale productions across film, corporate, and commercial work. I’ve also served as AC, DIT, and in other key roles, giving me a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of production.

I’m well-versed in all cameras and operate as an owner/operator of a Canon C500 MK II, complete with a full lighting package. Beyond cinematography, I’m passionate about photography and visual storytelling. Outside of work, I enjoy bicycling, climbing, traveling, and time with my wife and our two dogs.

I bring both technical expertise and creative vision to every project, crafting images that are visually compelling and thoughtfully composed.
